Clarity

I wanna take a moment out and talk about the most important value I have in my life. That's clarity. Why is it the most important for me? Well, over the 24 years that I've lived, I've done a lot of experiments with my own mind, made various thought experiments, observed everything as deeply as I could, read as much as I could, and pondered over every concept I find interesting, and over the years I started seeing something. I saw that there are a lot of things that other people don't understand, but I do. And same can be said about happiness, I in general remain happy and excited about the things I do in my day to day life, but many people don't seem to be so. And when I started seeing this pattern everywhere, I realised the things that I did for myself, like reading and experimenting and other stuffs, they all gave me immense clarity over the years, which in turn made me capable of certain things that I don't find everywhere.

And this, my friend, can be achieved by anyone. The reason I respect clarity so much is that it makes life really easy. Every decision you make will be easier once you have enough clarity about anything. It reduces fear, and gives you enough confidence to go ahead, regardless of the risk involved. Also, clarity helps you define your priorities properly, which in turn helps in every other thing, like desire, work and the amount of fun you'll have.

This is one of the reasons I don't listen to a lot of advices received from different people. Actually, I listen to everything, and then they go through my own mental models that have been developed throughout the years, which act greatly well in deciding what to be followed and what not!

With time, having clarity has actually been my biggest priority. It IS the reason I read things, and I work so much. Because the end goal is being clear about everything. I don't know whether it can be achieved or not, but it's fun to try!
